About the Role
We are looking for someone who can ensure that there is a correct and consistent application of quality and technical assurance processes across Ventia NSW Motorways and Tunnels assets. Supporting the application and review of the technical assurance regime, setting of processes, and reporting on compliance from delivery perspective.
The ideal candidate would have proven ability to analyse data and plan accordingly to improved quality. You will be accountable for working with our internal teams & external sub-contractor teams to ensure compliance to determined work scope & relevant standards, identifying any inaccuracy or opportunities for improvement through thorough investigation, communicating findings and recommendations, and ensuring implementation of change is embedded within the project.
What you’ll be doing
Key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
Liaise with Corporate Quality Team and assist in rollout and communication of any Ventia quality procedures, processes, policies, and systems.
Identify key issues in quality management and compliance and work with the relevant stakeholders to implement changes to improve performance.
Work closely with the Health, Safety & Environment personnel to develop and implement new ways of working that enable its Quality process.
Monitor procedures and processes for compliance across all aspects of the design, construction and maintenance services.
Coach, mentor and support personnel across the contract in the development and application of QMS to ensure ongoing understanding of the business / contract requirements.
Undertake reviews of procedures and processes, develop business cases for new ways of working, present to Leadership Team.
Ensure that any non-conformances/ICARs are closed out within the agreed timeframes, and in accordance with internal and contractual obligations.
Complete weekly audits as per the audit schedule, provide feedback and recommendations to workgroup.

About you
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Proven track record of mentoring team members in new processes and ways of working.
Ability to work to deadlines and balance competing needs.
Strong experience in QA planning, co-ordination, and execution.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional time management skills and a willingness to participate in a team environment.
Formulate timely reports and documentation to track progress.
