About the Role:
Woodside are currently looking for a Business Market Advisor join their New Energy team.
In this role, you will provide Market Analysis and Intel to support origination of opportunities to build a profitable, scalable and sustainable New Energy Business.
Duties & Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Understanding the key drivers across the value chain for H2 and Ammonia
- Representing Woodside Energy market analysis, including partnerships, service providers and broader relationships
- Understanding and modelling of Supply and Demand in order to provide Cost of Supply (CoS) and wiliness to pay analysis
- Contributing insights on key industries and customers in the regional market to support the growth strategy
- Undertaking market research, including relevant incentives to understand implications of Woodside's and competitors portfolios
- Supporting regional business development team in achieving team targets
- Identifying synergies and strategic approaches to supporting customers and Woodside's growth by incorporating relevant intel and analysis
- Undertaking customer, competitor and market analysis in support of opportunity framing
- Contributing to the assessment of new opportunities
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- 7+ years in market development, strategy, engineering ore related discipline
- Tertiary degree in any of the following: Commerce, Economics, Business, finance or Marketing
- Capability to transform complex analysis into clear and actionable insights
- Professional experience with providing financial and market analysis, and modelling expertise to support opportunity framing and decision making
