We are looking for a motivated and experienced Night Time Auditor for Crystalbrook Flynn, here in Cairns. Reporting to the Division Manager, you understand how important our guest services are and are confident to acknowledge challenges that can occur in a hotel environment at night. You will work effectively in a small team and be the type of person who thrives in a varied position and is self-accountable.
The Opportunity
Efficiently auditing the current day trading transactions and ensure that they are properly balanced and posted. Anticipating and exceeding guest needs immediately as they occur during the night shift. Accurately identify when discrepancies exist within the daily reports. Assisting with the required system back-up and maintenance programs and procedures. Ensuring security is upheld throughout the hotel on a nightly basis, including security walks and scanning each checkpoint throughout the hotel.
Your talents will include:
A love of crunching numbers and an eye for detail. Basic knowledge of accounting principles. The ability to work with Opera and a general understanding of hotel operations. A personality to rival any sunrise you will see! You are able to balance the requirements of night shifts and are seeking a permanent contract across a 5 day Roster.
