What you will be doing:
Assisting the Night Manager to check and prepare reports & statistical information in accordance with service standards and auditing procedures
Balance Food & Beverage point of sale transactions and credit card transactions to journal reports
In absence of a Night Manager, oversee the hotel, ensuring the safety and security of the property and the smooth and efficient running of the Hotel's overnight operation
Greet, check-in, respond to requests and settle accounts while providing exceptional service
Proudly promote the hotel facilities, looking for opportunities to enhance a guest’s stay through up-selling
Handle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests
Assisting the Night Manager attend to any emergency situations
Your experience and skills include:
Previous Night Audit or Guest Service experience within a luxury hotel
Service focused personality is essential
Prior experience working with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite and Opera (or a related PMS system). POS experience is an asset.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of a second language is an asset
Availability to work overnight, with shifts rostered from 11pm to 7am
Valid and current First Aid + CPR
Valid South Australian RSA and the ability to hold RP badge
Full Drivers licence
