The opportunity
The primary purpose of the role is to assist with the growth and retention of North clients via the provision of a range of support services, principally training and education of North, project management of Transition services and relationship management with key clients back-office staff.
How you will make an impact
Works closely with the Distribution team in managing existing adviser relationships and support engagement of new advisers. This support is a combination of training responsibilities and supporting practices who want to transition clients to North.
Maintain and develop deep and trusted relationships with key clients’ back-office staff to drive retention and growth and build best practice for efficiency and use of Platform.
Working closely with the Business Development Manager(s) and New Business Manager(s) to on-board new advisers and support staff to North.
Deliver effective training for advisers and support staff
Be a subject matter expert in terms of the platform functionality.
Roll out new platform capabilities in conjunction with the Business Development Managers to adviser practices.
Identify growth and engagement opportunities for North.
Act as a point of escalation ensuring Adviser queries and complaints to ensure they are dealt with effectively in a timely manner.
What you will bring to the role
Experience & Qualifications required
3+ years' experience in financial services industry (or a related industry)
Previous client facing role is highly desirable
RG146 qualified
Job Specific Capabilities Required
In addition to your experience and qualifications, you should be able to demonstrate an excellent level of competency in the following:
A strong understanding of the Financial Planning market including compliance
Proven track record in effectively resolving difficult or complex customer issues
Understanding of the advice process and obligations of an adviser
Strong relationship management skills
Sound technical knowledge of superannuation investment structures, funds management and Platforms
Ability to manage multiple projects and to set targets and goals autonomously
Previous experience demonstrating effective presentation skills and material to educate clients in a manner appropriate to the individuals and groups level of knowledge
Ability to build effective relationships and working pro-actively and collaboratively with peers/ interna; stakeholders to ensure client priorities are front of mind
