Due to our continued investment in data analytics we have a newly created opportunity for a Business Analyst. The primary purpose of this role is to support reporting and analytics within the TIO Claims Personal Injury division to ensure Allianz can make informed data driven decisions to improve our customers’ experience, and meets the expectations of our customers, regulators and the business.

It will be your responsibility to:

• Develop and deliver enterprise dashboards, standardised reporting, and ad hoc reporting for Allianz and the Motor Accidents Compensation Commission (MACC).
• Develop and deliver analytical insights to enable an improved customer experience and to drive business process improvement opportunities.
• Deliver management reporting, analysis, insights, and recommendations as input to management and board committee reporting to facilitate highly-informed business decision making.
• Support projects undertaken by the Team and broader division as well as contributing to User Acceptance Testing to ensure the overall efficiency, functionality, accuracy and user experience in all areas

Important to your success:

• Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions.
• Advanced ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights and evaluated options for decision making.
• Advanced technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, presentation, reporting and communication software and tools.
• High attention to detail by completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy and has the ability to quickly identify errors or inconsistencies within information.
• Very good verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact and influence
