About the role
This role is accountable and responsible for achieving and integrating legislative requirements as well as NMBA standards, in all actions and outcomes. This accountability includes all professional advice given and for activities delegated to a registered nurse, enrolled nurse, or unregulated healthcare worker.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated leadership and management capability through the expressed knowledge of team engagement and human, financial and material resource management principles applicable to operational planning, coordination and evaluation of workforce priorities.
- Demonstrated experience and skills in leading Candidate Care activities.
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others, providing support, making considered and fair decisions to enhance service delivery and maintain effective working relationships.
- Proven ability to communicate relevant, prompt and accurate information; is approachable and resourceful in working with senior colleagues and peers; uses good judgement in prioritising courses of action and is respectful.
- Demonstrated awareness of the principles and processes of change management and can apply a range of strategies to successfully negotiate organisational change.
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the
