Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospital Group (FSFHG) Service 4 incorporates emergency, acute and aged care services. Ward B8South is a 27 bed Ortho Geriatric Rehabilitation Ward. The ward predominantly takes Geriatric patients who require rehabilitation following orthopaedic intervention directly from the Acute Orthopaedic Ward at Fiona Stanley Hospital.

Currently we are seeking a Nurse Unit Manager-Ortho Geri Rehab who is highly driven, committed and compassionate leader with a ‘can do’ approach and a proven track record for delivering and organising patient care, leading teams and which is complimented by substantial experience in Geriatric Medicine. You will have a proactive and positive approach, with evidence of excellent clinical, teaching, managerial and inter- personal skills to lead, work alongside and motivate our multi-disciplinary team with support from the Coordinator of Nursing and Service Executive. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe day to day running of the Rehabilitation ward and will lead by example to deliver the South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) vision of providing excellent health care every time.
