An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Nurse Unit Manager to join the Oncology and Haematology Team at a private cancer hospital in regional NSW. This is a permanent Full-Time position.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Nurse Unit Manager, you will develop and grow your career in a leadership position by providing excellent clinical support and guidance to all members of the team. You will be leading the Oncology and Haematology Inpatient Ward and your responsibilities will include accountability for the efficient and effective management of all human and material resources, being a positive mentor, providing clinical leadership and supporting your team, assisting in shaping organisational strategy, improving procedural service provision and achieving departmental and Hospital strategic objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
Current AHPRA registration;
Relevant qualifications;
Highly experienced Oncology and Haematology background;
Post-graduate studies in an appropriate specialty or management qualifications will be highly regarded;
Proven leadership and management abilities;
Ability to thrive on problem-solving, fostering a positive and supportive culture, and providing dedicated and specialised advice to your team members;

REMUNERATION
A base hourly rate ranging from $60.62 – $65.21 + superannuation.
THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Albury Wodonga, is a purpose-built integrated cancer centre. The Hospital consists of a 28-chair day oncology ward and a 30-bed inpatient oncology ward, over two levels. The onsite medical consulting suites and radiotherapy centre are in close proximity. Services provided by the hospital include inpatient care for oncology patients, including chemotherapy, inpatient care for radiotherapy patients, day oncology treatments, including chemotherapy, and oncology-related procedures, such as bone marrow biopsies.
