Client Details

You will have full support from your manager, who has direct experience and knowledge of working in the healthcare sector. You will also be supported by team members with a structured training schedule and a thorough induction which will assist you in your new role.

Work-life balance is encouraged with this amazing organisation and you will be valued as an individual Occupational Therapist. You will be working with a varied caseload of paediatrics, and adults, conducting assessments, home modifications and the majority of the caseload will be working with disability clientele and it will be self-managed. Providing clinical services to clients you will work with adults and children through the NDIS process which is a very rewarding and gratifying experience.

Working with a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals you will have support and mentoring to grow your career within healthcare. The team comprises of Psychologists, Social Workers, Speech Pathologists and Physiotherapists. You will be the pivotal professional for quality care and support for clients. Your responsibility will be to implement proactive methods of Occupational Therapy services.

Profile

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and background in Occupational Therapy
• AHPRA Registration
• Experience in working with adults and adolescents with developmental and communication difficulties and delays, is highly regarded, however fresh graduates will be considered
• You will possess a valid Police Certificate or the ability to obtain (valid within the last 12 months)
• Driver's licence and have your own vehicle
• Demonstrated knowledge with working with modern technology i.e. ipads, and applications for clinical practice
• Current First Aid certificate
• Professional indemnity insurance
• Friendly, approachable, and professional manner
• Fantastic work ethic
