The Opportunity
As a mobile Allied Health clinician - Occupational Therapist, you will be providing care to Australian's wherever they call home, this could be working across a mix of community care and residential aged care.
This is a great opportunity for you to have variety in your caseload which will allow you to utilise your skills and grow as a health professional with the support of our senior clinicians.
You will support clients via:
Community:
- Home Care Package clients: supporting those in our community who wish to remain independent at home
- Our clinicians will have the opportunity to help us to shape and implement our Rehab in the home program and Hospital in the Home programs.
Residential Aged Care:
- Complete assessments, including initials, reviews, post hospitalisation and falls.
- Develop, implement, and manage programs
- Design and facilitate group programs
- Complete individual sessions with residents
- Facilitate manual handling
- Equipment prescription
This role suits a qualified, fully AHPRA registered or Limited Registered (remote level) clinician. Ideally (but not essential) you will have a minimum 1 years' experience in a community or Aged Care setting. As a mobile Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist you will need to be comfortable travelling to our clients located in Launceston/Devonport and as such provide your own vehicle (kilometre reimbursement provided for this travel).
