Part-Time OT position - Working 72 hours per fortnight
Based in Melbourne CBD - Mental Health Homeless Team

Our Community team provides care to consumers living in the CBD and Inner Melbourne
We apply an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) model of care, which is characterized by lower caseloads, community-based treatment, a team based approach and high intensity of care.
As an experienced Occupational Therapist, you will provide a strengths-based and personalised model of care to increase consumers well-being and functioning.
Your new role:
Provide support, leadership, oversight from and Occupational Therapy perspective and contribute to the multi-disciplinary team
Support and guide our Entry Level Program Occupational Therapist in the team
Develop and apply Occupational Therapy interventions suitable for our consumer cohort that will assist with their recovery and apply to personalising NDIS supports and thorough assessments
Scope for involvement in facilitating group program interventions relevant to building daily function, capacity and wellbeing through increased levels of personalised participation
About you:
Interested in working with homeless consumers directly in the community via assertive outreach
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Hold current registration with AHPRA
Demonstrated expertise relating to Occupational Therapy specific work
