MARS Recruitment is on the hunt for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to become a vital part of a dedicated team at a private practice in Sydney's vibrant St George area. This opportunity offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time engagement.
Whether your are a newly graduated and looking for a team to help you kickstart your career, or a Senior Occupational Therapist seeking a new challenge, our client has opportunities for all levels! With support from lead therapists and a large dyanmic multidisciplinary team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Pathologists. You will be joining a company that is all about supporting their clinicians be the best they can be!
You will work closley with children and young adults managing developmental delays and disabilities. They're all about holistic care, working closely with families to provide inclusive therapy services.
Your role will be centered in their newly equipped clinic, serving theSouthern Sydney region and the broader Sydney Metropolitan area. This organisation is passionate about helping children uncover their true potential, offering empathetic and effective therapy to help them conquer life's challenges.

What You'll Do:
✨Deliver responsive, evidence-based therapeutic support to children aged 3-16.
✨Collaborate closely with families and caregivers to provide genuine and effective services.
✨Develop and implement effective therapy programs tailored to individual goals.
✨Regularly assess, review, and report on modifications for both simple and complex cases.
✨Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including speech pathologists, psychologists, and special educators, to ensure the best outcomes.
✨Liaise with external stakeholders, such as GPs, Allied Health Services, Preschools, and Schools.
✨Customize plans to help patients achieve specific goals, provide clear feedback, and embrace innovation for life-changing results.

What You Need:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and AHPRA membership.
- Strong clinical skills and reasoning for pediatric caseload assessment and treatment.
- Excellent interpersonal and stress management skills.
- Passion for pediatric care and empowerment.
- Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team and make the best use of referral systems.
- Additional requirements: NSW driver's license, first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain one), Working with Children Check, Police Check, and COVID-19 Vaccinations + Booster.
