Job description

We are a boutique Residential Real Estate Agency in search of an experienced Accounts Administrator/Office Manager. If you're an adept Accounts Administrator/Bookkeeper aiming for career advancement or a current Office Manager seeking a new challenge, this role is tailored for you.

Role Objectives:

  • Provide support to the company Director 
  • Accounts management  
  • Managing billing transactions, reconciling accounts, and handling other financial responsibilities, not limited to: all payroll, Superannuation & BAS payments 
  • Manage deposits & receipts 
  • End of month reporting 
  • Oversee staff hours, creating work schedules where required 
  • Oversee the daily operations of the business 
  • Manage office stock/supplies 
  • Prepare accounts, SOP’s & manage company filing 
  • Update all insurances, policies & procedures – ensure all are up to date with current legislation 
  • Manage and update properties through the sale process via CRM’s/Organisation of settlements 
  • Prepare Sales Advice when required 
  • Liaise with vendors & third parties regarding administration of sales process 
  • May also provide administrative and secretarial support to the sales and property management teams 
  • Responding to accounts inquiries & managing email correspondence
  • Other ad hoc duties as required 

Knowledge & Experience: 
Essential:

  • Possession of a current ACT Agent’s Representative Certificate, Real Estate Licence or Registration or willing to obtain 
  • A current driver’s licence with access to a reliable car 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • A proven ability to build strong client relationships 
  • Strong administration skills – organised, thorough, systems orientated with meticulous 
  • Attention to detail 
  • An ability to work under limited supervision 
  • Proactive, punctual and reliable 
  • Well presented and well spoken 
  • Business Qualification 
  • Finance/Bookkeeping Qualification or experience  

Desirable:

  • Experience in the real estate industry and/or experience in the local property market 
  • Relevant formal training 
  • Experience using Xero & PropertyMe
