Mr Fothergill’s is a market-leading manufacturer and wholesaler of gardening products for home gardeners. Our range of products includes packet seeds, bulbs, propagation accessories, all-in-one grow kits, garden gifts and garden tools. Our retail customers include national retailers such as Bunnings, Big W and The Reject Shop, as well as thousands of independent garden retailers nationwide. Our head office is located in Windsor (North-West Sydney) and we have a team of approx. 60 people – including the office, warehouse and field sales team.
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Office Administrator to join our Customer Service team to ensure the timely and accurate processing of customer orders and enquiries.
Key responsibilities:
- Downloading all customer orders on a daily basis, including printing delivery dockets for picking orders in the warehouse. Amend and print invoices for credits as required after orders have been picked.
- Assisting with phone enquiries from customers and sales representatives, including arranging for proof of deliveries and freight enquiries.
- Investigating and acting on customer complaints.
- Assistance with daily web orders.
- General administration duties.
Desirable skills/experience:
- Prior Customer Service and/or clerical experience.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good organisational skills.
- High motivation levels and a positive mental attitude including a willingness to attend to ad hoc tasks as required.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work efficiently and effectively both autonomously and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.
- High competency with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent phone manner.
