The Role:
At BG&E our reputation for delivering high-quality design and advisory solutions to our clients across a variety of projects, from private asset owners, contractors and state government agencies is second to none. Our team is passionate about they work they do and are looking for a like-minded person to join them.
What to expect day to day:
- Diary and email management for Regional Director
- Meeting coordination including developing agendas and recording minutes and actions
- Office management including liaising with building management
- Event management
- Expense management including credit cards, statements, inputting to systems such as BST
- Updating backlog and project resourcing in BST
- Word processing of technical documents, correspondence, reports and other project related requirements
- Assisting with collection of inputs and preparation of ELT and board papers
- Supervision of reception and administration support
- Oversee and participate within the social committee
- Coordination of project mobilisations, inductions and travel requirements
- Monitor publicly available tender and news sites to support the development of the group pipeline, and coordination of pipeline entries within company systems
- Liaise with and support where necessary teams responsible for development of project data sheets, presentations and other collateral
- Liaise with and support where necessary teams responsible for maintenance of consultant CVs and skills database
- Liaise with and support where necessary discipline leads and their project teams with compiling inputs from stakeholders and preparation/coordination of proposals
- Assist where necessary with Document Control utilising company and client software (QDMS, Team binder)
- Work with Knowledge Management team to define and improve administrative processes and procedures
- Work with Project Coordinators and HSEQ team to assist in ensuring compliance across the group
About you
You'll be an energetic, motivated individual with a passion for excellent stakeholder service and bring the following:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- A self-starter with a willingness to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, with a focus on Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Previous experience in the construction, engineering and/or consulting industries advantageous
