Kimberley Fire Systems (KFS) is a dynamic and innovative Fire Installation and Servicing company based in Broome WA.
We require the skills of a capable and enthusiastic Office/Workshop Assistant, to supports the efficient running of our office and job management for our technicians in the field.
The initial duties of the position will include.
- Answering phone, email and in person enquiries.
- Performing stock counts, maintaining supply levels, receipting, unpacking, and allocation of stock.
- Organisation of Fleet and equipment maintenance.
- Building a rapport with our customers and suppliers, whilst following up quotations and purchase orders.
- General filing and Office/Workshop duties.
This role provides a vital link between our remote office staff and our team on the ground. These duties will likely evolve with your increased exposure and understanding of the fire industry.
What we need from you
- Strong organisation and task management skills with the ability to work autonomously.
- Confident and clear communication and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate computer skills (simPRO experience highly regarded)
- Willingness to get your hands dirty unpacking pallets and physical ability to lift and carry stock items.
- To take pride and ownership in your work contributions
