NES Fircroft are working with an Oil & Gas EPC seeking a HR Officer to support all Offshore Recruitment.
Job Title: Offshore HR Officer
Length of Contract: 12 month contract (potential for a permanent position)
Pay Rate / Level of Experience: Formal HR qualifications and Industry experience required.
Location: West Perth
Roster / Hours: Mon – Fri, 8 hour days
Start Date: March 2024
Key Accountabilities:
End to end recruitment of offshore personnel including interviewing, reference checking, training, qualification verification, and pre - employment medicals as required in line with the human resources planning;
Working closely with offshore administrator and processing timesheets received, cross checking;
Training status monitoring and compliance to meet client and project requirements;
Assist with mobilizing personnel to/from offshore facility (crew change), flights arrangement as required;
Assist with communication between client and Contractors - recruitment, approvals from internal stakeholders, internal/external audit assistance, making sure contractors are following company and client process;
Ensuring all employee compliance are up to date white collar/blue collar;
Assist with mobilization of employees including assisting with Site orientations, inductions;
Issuance of purchase orders for the crewing department - training, transfer, medical tests and related expenses;
Administrative support with the crew department;
Ensuring that the Crew Roster is up to date;
Assist with the administration of employee training between our client expectation, contractors and internal approvals required;
Engagement with internal support functions accordingly to the requirements of the project and our contractor queries/issues;
Assisting with mobilization of expat crew sailing with C1 to Australia, visa requirements, compliance, liaising with role company offices; and
Providing general HR support to project.
Professional Qualifications:
4+ years in a similar HR role in the construction/oil and gas industry;
Qualification in Human Resources Management (Diploma or Bachelor);
Experience working in a project environment; and
Strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn new systems and tools.
