We are located 150 km east of Melbourne, and the hospital is the regional provider of a broad range of specialist health services including hospital based, sub-acute and mental health services across Gippsland.

Now is an exciting time to join the team, with $217 million expansion nearing completion, offering improved maternity and paediatric facilities, larger intensive care unit, increase medical and surgical beds and additional operating theatres.

The Role:
The Obstetric & Gynaecology Consultant is responsible for the provisions of Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist Services for patients at this Regional Hospital and will be involved in the training and supervision of medical, midwifery and nursing staff as required.

The aim of this position is to ensure that the delivery of obstetric & gynaecology services (within the rural maternity service framework) is consistent with the clinical governance framework and core values of the hospital

The Requirements:
To apply you must hold the FRANZCOG or be eligible to obtain.
Registered with AHPRA with Specialist Registration (FRANCOG) and have at least 12 months recent
IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
IMG's with FRANZCOG interview date
IMG's assessed by FRANZCOG and found to be substantially comparable.
