Craigmore High School is a site with a Category 2 Index of Educational Disadvantage. Our current enrolments are 1350 which are anticipated to increase over the next 3-4 years. Our vision is to 'empower and inspire our school community to prosper through innovation' underpinned by 3 core values of Respect, Success and Creativity. Through implementing our vision, we maintain a commitment to increasing student agency through co-design of the curriculum, ensuring the effective implementation of restorative practices across our site, providing students with feedback that progresses learning, building a sense of community and facilitating opportunities for students to develop the skills to thrive in a globally connected world. A diverse range of students attend Craigmore High School including 14% EALD and 10% ATSI. We also have 3 DU classes, 2 Special Classes, an alternative learning program - CALM and an extensive IESP program. Craigmore High School is part of the Northern Adelaide State Secondary School Alliance (NASSSA). Staff who work at Craigmore High School are expected to use trauma informed practices and deepen their understanding of working with a community who experience social and educational disadvantage. Literacy, numeracy and student agency are key levers in our improvement agenda.
