AddressIPA are recruiting a OO6 Mechanical/Electrical Supervisor to work for our Client. Payrate is $53.12 per hour. Monday to Friday 38 hours a week.
Certification documents from contractors as per specification
DLP management
o Undertake and/or manage AC Condition Assessments depending on in-house or outsourced approach
o Take responsibility of assigned WOs and manage WOM with help from the regional Business Support Officers (BSOs) including:
Billing
Planned start & finish dates
Ensuring Quote Values are updated as variations arise
o Provide technical advice to the Repairs / Mailbox Manager as enquiries arise from contractors / Field Staff relating to recommendations for repair and replacement of AC systems based on agreed program business rules and technical specifications and their own industry knowledge
o Contractor performance management as needed in consultation with the Procurement Manager
o Manage safety incidents that arise by:
Notifying the regional Safety Advisor and following their instructions
Notifying the Delivery Manager and/or Line Manager
Issuing instruction to the Contractor as advised by the Delivery Manager and/or Line Manager
Providing information and reporting of facts around the incident

o Ownership of assigned AC replacement works within a zone or group of schools
o Point of contact for Contractors and/or Field Staff undertaking works
o Scoping on-site of AC replacement works including preparation of IRIS tender documents using ACRRP templates, and/or Medium Works templates
o Asbestos Identification through BEMIR and/or sampling as needed and include findings in Contract documentation
o Dispatch small scale works using the SORs Contractors and/or future SOA
o SR role:
Start-up meetings inc. safety hold points
Safety, compliance and technical/workmanship inspections
Progress inspections
Contractor and/or consultant invoice payments
