Operation And Integration Manager

We are currently recruiting for an Operations and Integration Manager. The Operations and Integration Manager will work on the Melbourne Airport Rail project. This is a transformational public transport project connecting Melbourne Airport to Victoria's regional and metropolitan train network for the first time. This role will be based in Melbourne on a Permanent, full time basis.

Purpose of the Role:
Design, analyse, develop, demonstrate engineering solutions specific to the technical and operational interfaces with Alstom's High Capacity Signalling Systems as part of Melbourne Airport Rail Link. Derive and solve the requirements focusing on future operation constraints during the tender phase and through to execution. Provide technical expertise in support of other departments.

In this role you will:

• Develop Operational Rules/Principles with operator and customer and ensure Operating Modes and Principles Definition for transportation systems are taken into account in the development
• Define and align all parties on the migration strategy for the HCS deployment
• Support the migration stages and related developments in line with the line operation requirements
• Review and comment on Interface designs, program, testing & commissioning package
• Participate in signalling and systems workshops with customer, partner and sub-systems and third parties to achieve the goals of future operation and produce technical notes in order to justify the design modifications impacting the operational context
• Reviews technical specifications, estimates costs and schedules, plans
• Review designs as per program based on MTMs' design process
• Participate actively in the preparation of operator training and ensure that maintenance developments are in line with the operational constraints of MTM
• Develop and use KPI's to monitor performance and maturity and provide guidance on improving system operational performance
• During project warranty, coordinate actions to support resolution of pending technical issues following Project Warranty Manager (PrWM) requirements

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Bachelor's Degree of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or scientific subjects
• 10 years' experience ideally with ATS, System Background or Turnkey projects
• Knowledge of CBTC
• MTM Engineering Competency
• Cost and planning control experience in design scope
