Our Operations OHS Coordinator Role
This is an important role that needs the right person in both skillset and personality. The role sits at the centre of the business and requires a detail focus for Operational and OHS tasks, an ability to build productive relationships with a range of stakeholders, and a level of professional experience in a similar industry and role.
This is a full-time role based at our office in Coolaroo.
Key Relationships & Focus
- Quickly build trusted relationships with the General Manager and Operations Manager to maintain smooth running of the business
- Able to engage with internal and external stakeholders to consistently produce the best outcomes in an efficient and professional manner
- Proven track record leading Operational processes and OHS projects
- Experience working in a dynamic role with developed people skills to deal with clients and employees in operational circumstances
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Support the GM and Operations Manager
- Lead OHS project utilising Buildpass platform
- OHS lead within the business
- Assisting with quoting/estimating
- Works coordinating and scheduling
- Previous exposure to ISO accreditation process
- Log jobs into Aroflo
- Create client reports for completed works, ready for issue
- Phone support to Operations team
- Dealing with client enquiries
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a similar Operations/OHS role
- Significant work experience in similar industry
- Proven ability to problem solve and calmly produce positive outcomes
- Highly developed attention to detail, to ensure accurate use of internal systems and processing of information.
- Previous experience with OHS and Industry Apps and software
- Sound computer literacy including use of Microsoft Excel, Word
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
