We are on the lookout for an Operations Manager with previous experience in the field, to join our team at our Gold Coast depot. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an industry leader in a role that offers genuine growth and development. Reporting to the State Manager you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing our Gold Coast based team to ensure we meet the needs of our customers and support the rapid growth of our business.
You will be responsible for:
- Setting the standard for branch success
- Drive continuous improvement
- Lead communications with clients
- Coordinate pre-works (pre-constructions, contractor bookings, etc)
- Review Job Completion forms
- Complete crew leave, training etc into works program
- Purchase order management
- Scheduling of vehicles
- Daily cost tracking management
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience in construction environment - desirable
- 3-4 years proven work experience as Operations Manager
- Degree in operations management or related field
- Budget development and oversight experience
- Familiarity with business and financial principles and practices
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation
- Leadership and organisational skills
