As an industry leader and employer of choice, we're Made for More.About the roleWesTrac are currently seeking an experienced Operations Planning Coordinator located in Tomago.The Operations Planning Coordinator is a critical role in which the position is required to work with each relevant department across the NSW/ACT dealership, including but not limited to Pricing, Operations and Sales. With these interactions, the position is required to develop and maintain efficient running machine/component schedules that have minimal impact on business operations.The role supports the achievement of machine DIFOT and increased customer satisfaction through providing accurate manpower and parts forecasts for new and rebuild machine sales.Key Responsibilities

  • Live the Values - Leads by example everyday through actions, behaviours and decisions.
  • Consolidate sales forecast and lead inputs for forthcoming 12-month outlook to develop an accurate machine master schedule for both new machine builds and rebuilds for all NSW/ACT operations.
  • Ensure efficient planning of labour through bay scheduling.
  • Ensure planned hours are realistic to actuals for New Builds and ROST's are provided ahead of schedule for Rebuild targets.
  • Coordinate with Sales ensuring LDs and POs are prioritised, aligning Sales requirements to operational capacity.
  • Ensure Machine scheduling is completed in a safe manner ensuring area congestion is managed and operational safety is maintained.
Skills & Experience
  • Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Business, Supply Chain, Maintenance Planning or equivalent
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role with demonstrated experience planning work to a forward looking 12-month outlook
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Smartsheet
  • Strong understanding of planning and scheduling principles
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Strong communication with ability to influence across all levels
  • Understanding of Cat CPS Principles and Cat systems (preferred)
  • Highly developed attention to detail
  • Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
  • Efficient planning, organisational and time management skills
  • Data engineering and power query knowledge would be advantageous
