We are currently seeking experienced CHPP Operator Maintainers to join our CHPP team at the Curragh site near Emerald on a 7/7 day night roster for permanent positions with Sedgman. This position is Drive in Drive out to and from site.
What does this role involve?
Operate all areas of the Coal Handling Preparation Plant in line with production schedules
Perform regular plant inspections to monitor condition and plan remedial work
Inspect operational equipment to ensure early defect detection and rectification
Delivery of CHPP process training
Clear plant blockages (e.g. pipe work, chutes, screens, crushers, overloaded conveyors, sumps, tanks)
Clean spillages and wash down areas to ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained
Carry out breakdown maintenance as required
Safely operate mobile equipment in and around fixed and mobile plant
What are we looking for in our future team member?
Proven knowledge and experience on a coal site in a CHPP Operator/Maintainer capacity
Relevant trade qualification and/or qualification and CHPP processing experience
Team player willing to work to ensure safe and effective operation of the CHPP
Trainer assessor qualifications will be highly regarded
