Oral Health Therapist

Balmoral Dental Centre has been around for almost 30 years in the suburb of Bulimba. When the current owner took over, it was a small 1 chair practice with a solo dentist working, its been through 3-4 differnt owners, each of whom was unable to grow the clinic due to the local competition.

Fast forward 3 years since the practice last changed hands, the old dental chairs were replaced with high quality brand new dental delivery systems. We've installed a whole bunch of new equipment, and upgraded instruments to high end ones. Balmoral dental is now installing a 3rd chair after, has 2 full time dentists, 1 part time dentist and a full time OHT.

It's only been possible to fit everyone in by being open 7 days a week, thus increasing chair capacity by an extra 40%. However, even this is not sufficient, and thus we have a 3rd surgery being fitted out.

This sounds like a good success story, but so what?

Balmoral Dental are now looking to bring onboard another OHT. You have the chance to work with a successful and growing dental clinic that can provide:

• New, and State of the Art equipment, dentapen, diagnoCAM, CEREC primescan, dental 3d printers, airflow, the lot!
• Support and understanding, from the owner down to the dentist - long term oral health management is the fundamental driving force and secret to our success - be appreciated for what you do, and know that the whole team is actually behind you.
• Mentoring and training, have your questions and queries answered, be trained by a successful OHT, and have your viewpoints shared with a colleague instead of your dentist.
• Options for growth - to the right candidate, you will be working with us on a commission basis, and your dedicated dental assistant, be constrained by only your own abilities.

Qualifications & experience

• APHRA registered Oral Health Therapist/ Hygienist (Full scope highly regarded)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 38 per week

Salary: $63,365.89 – $141,298.96 per year
