Form of work Vitonga Pty Ltd is seeking to recruit 22 casual harvest workers to pick oranges for the upcoming harvest season on our two orchards located 10km from Moree NSW. Approximately 9 months of work is expected to commence mid April all the way through to mid December. No previous experience necessary.
Candidates need to be:
- Fit and healthy
- Able to work 5-6 days per week
- Can follow instructions and apply new processes quickly
- Able to work in a team environment
- Demonstrate good communication skills
- Able to work in all temperatures and weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctual
Work is very physical and outdoors, so you will need to work in a range of weather conditions.
Successful candidates will be required for 7 am starts or earlier depending on the weather and be able to commit to the full picking season.
Successful candidates will be offered employment under a piece work agreement paying a rate per crate picked (for more information refer to the Horticulture Award).
