Multiple fixed-term opportunities, of up to 3 years in duration, for multi-skilled Organisational Change Manager to support the delivery of a number of continuous improvement initiatives across the university * Enable new ways of working by effectively leading your clients through organisational transformation and change environments

About the opportunity

We are in a period of exciting development within our Central Program Management Office, striving to achieve a contemporary and integrated service offering in line with the University’s strategic plan. As a result, we are seeking a number of Organisational Change Managers to design and deploy effective behavioural change management programs for ‘In Scope’ projects across a diversified range of complex client groups. Under the broad direction of the Senior Organisation Change Manager, you will be working across a range of large-scale, strategic projects across the university in support of achieving sustainable organisational, process and technological change.Your key responsibilities will be to:
  • lead project managers, stakeholders and clients through varying critical components of their respective projects
  • provide leadership and expert guidance in relation to change readiness assessments, change leadership, organisational structure and design, cultural change, benefit measurement and reporting and risk management, among other aspects
  • conduct change impact assessments in collaboration with Project Managers, business and project owners and build a deep knowledge of the impact of the planned project change on people in terms of the depth and scope of that change
  • collaborate with project managers to develop and implement plans for managing the change implications of strategic or transformational programs on people, technology and physical resources
  • effectively advise, coach and build capability across your stakeholders in order to deliver a seamless and tailored service offering.
About you
  • significant and varied change management delivery experience in either a business area that has experienced change or on transformation programs or projects in large/complex organisations.
  • working experience in change management program delivery within the higher education sector (desirable)
  • successful implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and capability in aligning project specific goals with the overall strategic objectives and direction of the organisation
  • highly developed relationship management skills as you will be managing a diversified and complex client base and working in collaboration with various business units across the university
  • flexibility in their organisation and planning skills in order to balance competing agendas and demands in a fast paced, time pressured environment
  • outstanding presentation, communication and negotiation skills to deliver messaging on a variety of channels to varied audiences
  • an agile and flexible approach that is able to pivot and contribute to overall team success.
