Advertisement text • We have an exciting leadership opportunity in our Surgical Services Suite. The Orthopaedic Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) presents an exciting opportunity for experienced Surgical Scrub/Scout nurses.

What You Will Be Doing
The successful applicants will become an integral part of the Surgery and Operating Suite Management team, providing leadership and guidance in relation to their speciality's services. They will demonstrate high level perioperative nursing experience, effective leadership skills, management experience, and possess the ability to influence the environment for their speciality's services through improvements to systems and processes within an integrated model of operating.
A component of the ANUM role is an expectation to undertake a share of floor management shifts and thus an understanding of the overall perioperative environment is also required.>
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Post graduate certificate and recent experience in perioperative nursing
- Proven peri-operative Orthopaedic experience
- Proven effective assessment and problem solving skills.
- Effective organisational, leadership and time management skills.

Selection Criteria Essential: Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
Essential: Orthopaedic Peri operative clinical experience
Desirable: Experience in a leadership or management role
Desirable: Peri-operative post graduate qualification.
