About the role
Carey is currently seeking an experienced Outdoor Education Teacher who has a passion for educating young people about our natural resources and sustainable practices to join the team in Term 2 and Term 3, 2023. Responsible to the Head of Outdoor Education, this Teaching position aims to engage and motivate all students in the concepts of Outdoor Education. Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellence in their teaching, together with high level skills in the use of technology in the teaching and learning process.
Outdoor Education Teachers at Carey
Carey's Outdoor Education program provides learners with the opportunity to experience learning outside of the classroom during years 4 - 10. Exploring the vast range of Victorian landscapes, the Outdoor Education programs offer a unique experience with a focus on personal development through interaction with others and a responsible use of the natural environment.
Skills & Experience
Demonstrated experience teaching Outdoor Education
Recognised Outdoor Education qualifications or equivalent in specific and appropriate activities
A valid Victorian Institute Teaching (VIT) registration as a requirement of employment
