They take much of their inspiration from the stunning surrounding marine environment of the New South Wales coastline.
They're looking for a Packaging Technician/Storeman for their distillery in Brookvale, in this role you will support the Warehouse & Distillery Manager and step up into the Warehouse Manager's role during leave periods.
Responsibilities are but not limited to;
- Manage day-to-day operations of the packing area Hands on packaging/bottling
- Coordination of casual of bottling teams
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards in all packaging operations.
- Maintaining packaging equipment where possible and otherwise managing contractors from time to time and development of an ongoing maintenance schedule to ensure downtime is minimised
- Maintain process logs and detailed records to ensure the product meets quality guidelines and finished product and raw materials stock are accurate
- Various distillery and warehouse activities as directed by the Production Manager
Qualifications;
- NSW Driver's License or equivalent (desired) and NSW Forklift License (desired)
- Qualification in Distilling or Brewing (preferred)
- Experience in a production distillery or brewery (desired)
- Must be computer literate, and a quick learner with pick and pack/distribution system
- Physically fit, must be able to lift over 16kg boxes of all dimensions regularly
- RSA certificate is ideal (as may be required for external events), however can be obtained later
This is a position that involves a range of responsibilities including operating and improving the efficiency of the packaging equipment, quality control and coordinating casual staff.
