AddressJohn Hughes Automotive Body Repairs is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Panel Shop Foreman to join our team.
As the Workshop Foreman you will be responsible to oversee our panel and paint shop team ensuring a high quality of repairs.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the panel and paint shop team, ensuring they work efficiently and effectively to meet goals.
- Report directly to the Production Manager, providing regular updates on the status of ongoing jobs, team performance or any issues that may arise.
- Take images of work in progress and upload them to the job record, ensuring that the records are kept up to date.
- Identify and report any additional parts required for ongoing jobs to the Production Manager to prevent delays.
- Support the workshop team with training, guidance and mentoring to help with their skills and knowledge.
- Maintain a high quality control standard to ensure that we meet or exceed customer expectations.
As a requirement you will need
- Trade qualified in Panel beating or Spray painting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to high -quality work.
- Knowledge of workshop tools, equipment and repair methods.
