Peterson House is the leading sparkling wine specialist in the Hunter Valley. Often referred to as the 'Gateway' to the Hunter, we are often the first stop visitors make when visiting the Valley. Guests stop in to either dine at our lovely restaurants, taste our amazing wines in the cellar door or share in a couples most important day with our stunning chapel and marquee venues.
About the Role
We are currently seeking to employ a Part Time 30.4hrs per week Accounts Officer/Clerk. The role would range from Monday to Friday with flexible days and hours between 8am - 5pm.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Processing supplier invoices and matching to purchase orders
- Reconciliation of monthly supplier statements
- Accounts receivable and assisting with debt collection
- General bookkeeping
- Assisting accountant with payroll preparation and processing when required
- Bank and petty cash reconciliation
- Assisting in stocktake reconciliations
- Monitoring accounts mailbox
- Assist sales team raising invoices and credit notes
What we are looking for
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Receivable and Payroll
- Intermediate MS Word, Excel and Outlook skills will be highly regarded
- Friendly, approachable & positive personality
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
