A top client that Cox Purtell has worked with for a long time is seeking a temporary marketing coordinator to join its membership business. They are a large association that are well known in their industry.
This marketing position is coordinating the efforts towards a huge global conference that they are hosting at the end of September. My client needs someone who can get stuck into a variety of hands-on marketing tasks all in relation to this event.
The position will be working 2-3 days per week and will be based at their head office in St Leonards. My client is flexible with which days and hours someone might want to work. It will be starting ASAP and is working until after the conference at the end of September. Ideally candidates will be based in the office but there may be some opportunity to work from home.
Ideal candidates will have at least 1-2 years + experience in generalist marketing roles from a corporate environment and will have worked on marketing for events before too.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain marketing plans and collateral for the event.
Creating email marketing templates and lead nurturing templates.
Website updates and writing content for the event
Social media posts/content writing for social
Partner with the marketing and event teams to implement and maintain marketing plans, e-communication, sponsorship, and other initiatives.
Partner with a digital marketing agency to ensure digital marketing for the event is on track
General administrative, ad-hoc reporting and project support as required.
Key Skills/Experience Required:
2 Years + experience in corporate generalist marketing roles
Prior experience in marketing for events is essential.
Someone who can coordinate and be the go to for the event between multiple teams
Available immediately!
Strong interpersonal skills, organised and proactive.
