Part Time Wedding And Events Manager

Tokar Estate Winery is searching for an experienced and highly motivated wedding and events manager with a strong sales background to join our small and passionate team in the beautiful Yarra Valley for an immediate start.

The restaurant has undergone extensive renovation, and now offers a boutique space to host small to medium weddings, and all manner of events. The property has two stunning events spaces, along with onsite accommodation, luxury transfers and picturesque ceremony locations. With further plans for expansion commencing soon, we are after someone to take our events to the next level. This is a newly created role within the business, and we are seeking someone with passion and extensive prior experience to make it their own.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Driving functions revenue through the acquisition of new clients, providing quick and timely responses
• End to end planning, organisation and execution, including coordination on the day
• Development and marketing of packages for both weddings and events, liaising with the marketing team to develop stunning collateral and social media content in line with our brand
• Managing client expectations and a high level of satisfaction to ensure repeat business
• Identify new markets and business opportunities to increase sales
• Proactively building supplier relationships within the local area

What we require:

• Strong leadership, interpersonal and organisational skills
• Success in selling via lead generation and cold calling
• Experience with creating budgets, forecasting and meeting KPI's
• Already established networks and supplier relationships in the area a bonus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Apple, Microsoft Office and Adobe suite
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
• Experience in conducting familiarisation and site inspections, including Saturdays
• An extensive background in the wedding and event industry, with prior experience at reputable venues
• A current Victorian RSA Certificate

Salary: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
