We are seeking a leader who is interested in being an integral part of this well established and thriving community, and to contribute to our continued commercial and business success through collaboration with a well-organised CSM Team, supported by a focused multi-disciplinary team of environmental professionals.
More specifically we are looking for an outstanding professional who combines strong consulting, technical, delivery and client skills to help ERM foster and expand a network of excellent client relationships by driving outcomes that create tangible value for our valued clients.
This role includes, but is not limited to, selling and delivering world-class services, leveraging innovation and technology on behalf of our client’s to solve their most challenging problems, recruiting and developing our next generation of leaders, and further advancing our reputation for safely delivering capital projects.

ERM’s Decommissioning, Decontamination & Demolition- About this Service Area
As part of the continued innovation of our growth strategy, your role as a Contaminated Site Management and Remediation / Decommissioning, Decontamination and Demolition (DDD) Partner will be focused on consulting and technical projects for the end to end integration of site investigation, remediation, decommissioning and retirement processes, in particular for the Oil & Gas, Power, Mining and overall Asset Retirement sectors.
With over 10 years direct experience and relevant qualifications in leading CSM/ DDD and Closure projects you will be actively engaged in working with our High Growth / High Value clients.
You will be an integral part of this well-established and thriving community and contribute to our continued commercial and business success through collaboration with a well-organised group of environmental, planning, EHS, stakeholder and sustainability professionals
Responsibilities:
Based on the experience, qualifications, and unique strengths of the successful candidate, this role will include some combination of the following responsibilities

Primary focus on strategic and technical consulting/leadership, delivery of complex and high-profile projects, and direct client engagement/support with the goal of strengthening the partnership we are building with a number of our key client accounts.
  • The role includes collaboration with ERM’s Account Directors to develop and implement account strategies, sales, delivery of the full spectrum of ERM’s consulting services to deliver strategic value to our clients, and playing a key role in growing ERM’s services across its broad portfolio of clients and service offerings.
  • Partner with Account Directors to actively develop commercial strategies to pursue and win new business opportunities that result in significant revenue growth with target clients aligned with ERM’s global strategy –
  • You will be responsible and accountable for sales and business development in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. In so doing, and to be successful, you will need to optimize your
  • Skills and strengths in strategic and technical consulting/leadership
  • Accountable for the delivery of complex client challenges,
  • Direct client engagement your goal will be the strengthening of the partnership we are building with a number of our key client accounts and building ERM’s reputation for excellence in planning and environmental approvals for complex projects.
  • Manage capture efforts utilising technical understanding to develop proposals, including written content, pricing, presentations, contracting.
  • Build, grow, and manage a high-performance team, serving as a leader and mentor to consultants. Identify emerging talent and work with them to reach their full potential; ensure rising stars are nurtured, developed and given new areas of responsibility
  • Drive innovation within the technical community to stay ahead of client needs and to differentiate ERM in the market
  • Work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment to build ERM’s business, as well as to lead client and technical teams
  • Meet business financial targets, overall project budget and schedule, client satisfaction / expectations, and internal and contract requirements
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of environmental remediation and DDD closure experience working within Australian and State legislative requirements.
  • High degree of technical competence in environmental remediation & investigation; DDD closure strategy, provisioning & implementation; and broad knowledge of planning and approvals best practices related to DDD works.
  • Solid experience building sustaining relationships with major clients.
  • Authorisation to work in Australia
  • Qualifications in planning, engineering, geology, science, or related discipline required (advanced degree preferred)
  • In-depth understanding of environmental remediation and DDD closure challenges including existing relationships that can be leveraged into new business.
  • Business acumen to understand business risk and challenges, and recognise corporate opportunities
  • Demonstrable track record in delivering multimillion dollar sales results annually, including successfully winning large and strategic projects.
