As a Stockman, reporting to Head Stockmen, you will play a key role in our day-to-day livestock operations and be responsible for the care, handling, and welfare of our livestock ensuring optimal health and productivity. Whilst having your own working dogs is an advantage, we will consider applicants without dogs on the understanding you will be required to attain working dogs for your role to be sustainable.
Malahide Farm, located in the picturesque Fingal Valley of Tasmania, is looking for the right person to join our dynamic team and contribute to our large-scale farming operations. The farm currently runs approximately 55,000 merino sheep and 5,000 Angus cattle, joining about 23,000 ewes and 2,800 cows per annum with a focus on sustainable farming practices and animal welfare.
A remuneration package will be negotiated based on the experience and skills of the applicant which includes on farm accommodation.
