We are looking for a full-time Pastry Cook to join our team at Taste Baguette.
The successful applicant needs to be able to work a flexible schedule.
In this role you are there to ensure that you and your team can produce high quality pastry.
You will be assisting in maintaining an efficient, professional and profitable operation with maximum quality and presentation of product and service to all clients both internal and external.
Your main responsibilities will be but not limited to:
- Forming and baking pastry products such as croissants, tart bases, and biscuits
- Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance
- Mixing and preparing cake bases, pouring into moulds and baking
- Filling and decorating flans, decorating cakes
- Complying with health and safety guidelines
- Ensuring quality and quantity of raw ingredients before commencing preparation
Skills and Experience Needed:
- A minimum of 3 years cooking experience
- Ability to prepare high quality pastry and cakes in a timely, efficient, sanitary and consistent manner
- Strong work ethic and a positive team attitude required.
