About the role
We are currently seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to fill the role of Pathology Sendaways Supervisor within our organisation. We are looking for a dedicated and preferably experienced team member to join our leadership team and oversee the sendaways process.
Key responsibilities of the Pathology Sendaways Supervisor include managing and coordinating the sendaways of pathology samples to external laboratories, ensuring timely and accurate processing of samples, and overseeing the logistics of sample transportation. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with external laboratories, monitoring the quality of sendaway services, and implementing process improvements as needed.
Candidates for this position should have a minimum of two years of experience in a Pathology Laboratory setting, ideally with demonstrated expertise in sample sendaways and laboratory operations. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential qualities for this role.

- A high degree of flexibility and the ability to prioritise for the benefit of the business, better patient care, and excellent service
- Relevant tertiary degree in Science or Business desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
