Revenue's goal is to provide advice and assist in maximising the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service's (CQHHS) own source revenue activities. Maximising revenue opportunities is essential for the health service to be efficient and continue to provide high quality patient services that meet patient needs and expectations. Revenue also owns the recovery of patient and provider accounts, works to coordinate CQHHS debt collection submissions and patient account write off requests and delivers compliant and standardised financial customer accounting services.
About the role:
Provide a highly customer focused coordination and liaising role aimed at developing, implementing and maintaining coordinated, user friendly systems and processes that enables patients to exercise their option to be treated as a non-public patient.
About you:
The ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- High level communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively present information related to Medicare Ineligibility to Ineligible patients, relatives and staff and other key stakeholders.
- Advanced ability to contribute to professional practice by facilitating the development, implementation and evaluation of initiatives to improve patient and service outcomes through quality improvement and research processes.
- Experience or the ability to rapidly acquire experience in developing and presenting training packages.
- Demonstrated knowledge or the ability to rapidly acquire sound knowledge of the provisions of relevant Policy, Procedures, Legislation or Directive which relates to patient eligibility, billing and Private Practice arrangement.
Salary information:
Total remuneration value of up to $110,852 p.a. is comprised of:
- A salary between $88,187 - $97,157 p.a.
