About the roleWe are looking for a Payroll/Administration Allrounder to join the team at our family owned Labour Hire Company based in the Sutherland Shire for 3 to 4 days per week Monday – Thursday, with some flexibility with hours, off street parking provided.
Payroll & MYOB experience is a must, previous experience with Astute Payroll Software and JobAdder is an advantage.
Wages negotiable based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end to end weekly processing of casual payroll
- Updating and maintaining payroll records
- Setting up new and maintaining existing employees
- Maintaining accurate payroll data and system changes
- Being a key point of contact for all payroll queries
- Complaints/Feedback Management
- Diary Management
- Minute taking
- Weekly invoicing
- MYOB input
- Visa checks, restriction management
- Construction Long service Leave
- Workers Compensation
- WHS compliance and document control
- Day to Day office Duties including answering phones/emails
- Maintaining an 80% paperless office (create and manage electronic forms)
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes
- A proven ability to prioritise and self-manage, motivate
- Able to work under pressure and keep within deadlines
- Eye for detail, systems and processes
- Experience in MYOB, Microsoft 365, Sharepoint
- Pleasant, understanding and patient phone manner
- Reliable and punctual
