About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Payroll and Systems Specialist to work directly for us. We have a great culture with a highly motivated and close-knit team. We are a young and innovative company therefore we are always looking at adding valuable staff members to our team as we continue to grow.
Your responsibilities will include:
- High volume payroll processing for employees on a weekly basis
- Ensure compliance is followed (e.g. data accuracy – pay & charge rates, employee positions, processes etc.)
- Employee rostering
- Management of automation and efficiency projects
- Work-flow development
- Liaise with our system providers to create and manage changes and requests
- Provide training to staff on the use of new and upgraded systems and processes
Skills and Attributes:
- Experience in full-function payroll processing
- Considerable payroll systems experience
- Experience with process mapping, process improvement and risk analysis and mitigation
- The ability to critically review and develop best practice processes
- Exposure to contracting companies – desired
- Experience using the foundU system – desired
- High attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Discretion with regards to sensitive information and figures
- The ability to adhere to deadlines and prioritise required tasks
- The ability to work across multiple projects at once
