As a major competitor in the FMCG branding and promotion market, our client is currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Officer to join their team. This individual will have a unique opportunity to absorb the duties of an evolving position as the organisation transitions towards an outsourced model. With comprehensive training and resources at their disposal, this individual will act as the subject matter expert and stakeholder liaison for all things payroll.
Responsibilities of the role:
Manage Australia and New Zealand payroll processing, covering a weekly, biweekly, and monthly payroll.
Work with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure accurate and timely results.
Maintain Time & Attendance systems, processing and reporting as well as the highest degree of integrity with regard to employee records
Collect and review variable data for payroll processing, with deliberate attention to vendor reporting
Respond to employee and manager enquiries whilst providing strong service and solutions
Support yearly activities, audit, and other ad-hoc tasks.
About you:
At least 1 year of experience in Human Resources or Finance
Familiarity with standard Office package tools
Detail-oriented and data-sensitive
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organisational skills and commitment to high standards and integrity
