The Opportunity
We seek an experienced People and Culture Officer for Recruitment and Training Functions to be responsible for the attraction, recruitment, and retention initiatives to promote a diverse and thriving workforce.
You will be collaborating closely with the Manager of People & Culture, you will engage with key stakeholders across the organisation to ensure that the staff is supported in areas such as training, professional development, traineeships, transition to employment, onboarding, and induction processes.
Your responsibilities under recruitment will include coordinating the Council recruitment function ensuring that all recruitment processes are conducted in a logical and timely manner and comprehensive recruitment records are maintained, preparing vacant advertisements and recruitment interview questions, contributing to the development of position descriptions, and reviewing and completing administration for both paid and volunteer vacancies within the organisation.
Your responsibilities under training will include providing administrative support for pre-and post-training activities, including assistance with training requests. Assist with group training bookings as required and assist with the development of People & Culture policies and procedures.

Attractive annual salary of $86,187.13 p/a plus district allowance — $ 2611 w/dependents, $1498 w/o dependents (Pro-rata Basis).
6 weeks annual leave with additional generous leave entitlements (Pro-rata Basis).
