The Oppor­tu­ni­ty
We seek an expe­ri­enced Peo­ple and Cul­ture Offi­cer for Recruit­ment and Train­ing Func­tions to be respon­si­ble for the attrac­tion, recruit­ment, and reten­tion ini­tia­tives to pro­mote a diverse and thriv­ing workforce.
You will be col­lab­o­rat­ing close­ly with the Man­ag­er of Peo­ple & Cul­ture, you will engage with key stake­hold­ers across the organ­i­sa­tion to ensure that the staff is sup­port­ed in areas such as train­ing, pro­fes­sion­al devel­op­ment, trainee­ships, tran­si­tion to employ­ment, onboard­ing, and induc­tion process­es.
Your respon­si­bil­i­ties under recruit­ment will include coor­di­nat­ing the Coun­cil recruit­ment func­tion ensur­ing that all recruit­ment process­es are con­duct­ed in a log­i­cal and time­ly man­ner and com­pre­hen­sive recruit­ment records are main­tained, prepar­ing vacant adver­tise­ments and recruit­ment inter­view ques­tions, con­tribut­ing to the devel­op­ment of posi­tion descrip­tions, and review­ing and com­plet­ing admin­is­tra­tion for both paid and vol­un­teer vacan­cies with­in the organisation.
Your respon­si­bil­i­ties under train­ing will include pro­vid­ing admin­is­tra­tive sup­port for pre-and post-train­ing activ­i­ties, includ­ing assis­tance with train­ing requests. Assist with group train­ing book­ings as required and assist with the devel­op­ment of Peo­ple & Cul­ture poli­cies and procedures.

Attrac­tive annu­al salary of $86,187.13 p/​a plus dis­trict allowance — $ 2611 w/​dependents, $1498 w/​o depen­dents (Pro-rata Basis).
6 weeks annu­al leave with addi­tion­al gen­er­ous leave enti­tle­ments (Pro-rata Basis).
