Are you ready for a once-in-a-lifetime experience? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a People & Culture Advisor to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.

This is a rare opportunity for a human resources professional who is seeking a challenging and adventurous change.  You will work and live in Ayers Rock Resort, we are responsible for the whole town, from the Airport to the IGA the Hotels, the Campground, and all Employee Accommodation. If you thrive on building strong relationships, supporting management and enjoy having each day that is highly rewarding, but always different, then this role is for you.

We are big believers that our role is to assist People Managers to Manage their people! This includes providing clear expectations, processes and working with our mangers to be confident and capable to manage their own team.

This isn't any regular People & Culture role, we live in a magnificent location and this role will give you a unique perspective of Central Australia.  Our goal is to provide jobs for the local communities and empower a growing indigenous workforce. Who We're Looking For
We're seeking a strong communicator, approachable and organized Human Resources professional to join the amazing Ayers Rock Resort team. You will be collaborating with our key business leaders, internal and external stakeholders to promote change and fairness across our resort.

If you thrive on building strong relationships, developing innovative solutions and providing quality strategic HR advice you will find this role highly rewarding. This is a true generalist role and with a hands on approach you will have the opportunity to guide, lead & manage the broad range of HR activities and projects. No two days are alike when working in hospitality and each day presents new opportunities to learn and grow and develop your career!

The ideal candidate will be:

  • A HR Advisor (Mid-level) looking to expand their experience or a solo HR manager in a small to medium business.
  • A solid HR background in a Generalist role is essential, the ideal candidate must also be familiar with Australia's Employment law and have an understanding of EBA interpretations.
  • A sound understanding of career development pathways and cross skilling would be advantageous.
  • Experience undertaking workplace investigations and training delivery is desirable.
  • A background in Hospitality/Maintenance/Retail is preferred.
