About the Role
We have a great opportunity for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join our SIXT Australia People & Culture (“P&C”) team on a 6 month maximum term contract basis.
The P&C Business Partner will support and coach leaders across the business in the development and implementation of a diverse range of people strategies and processes. You will drive and deliver great people outcomes and solutions for the business across the employee lifecycle.
Specifically your role will include, but not limited to:
Deliver P&C strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
Assist with the day to day business partnering support across the employee lifecycle to all managers and employees across the SIXT business unit including providing guidance and advice to all people managers on P&C policy and procedures, balancing commercial needs with best practice
Assist P&C Business Partner with investigations and help assist with ER/IR matters which will including conducting investigations
Assist with recruitment activity ensuring alignment with overall direction and execution within required timeframes
Work with Safety team to identify relevant issues and seek their expertise in the resolution of these matters
Encourage all people managers within the function to utilise employee strategies to motivate teams, engage employees and create a climate for the development and retention of its people
Support the P&C team on a range of projects including Leadership & Culture framework, Payroll & Talent Management system roll-out, NRMA Reconciliation Action Plan and streamlining existing processes and practices
Building collaborative relationships with stakeholders, including the P&C Community, to deliver on people strategies.
This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with the opportunity to work from home and from our Sydney CBD office as required.
About You
Tertiary level qualification (e.g. bachelor degree) in Human Resources or related discipline
5-7years’ experience in Human Resources Business Partnering support across the employee lifecycle
Knowledge and understanding of Australian employment legislation with a strong generalist HR knowledge of HR/IR areas
Prior experience working in a frontline operations environment preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to building strong relationships and influence leaders
Experience in negotiation, handling conflict and confrontation, and facilitating resolution
Understanding of change management and project management capabilities
Possess a high degree of confidentiality, discretion and judgment
