What are the key responsibilities?
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, as the People & Culture Business Partner you will be:
ER/IR Business Partnering
Partner with business leaders and team members to provide day to day ER/IR advice and interpretation of HR policies, processes and procedures.
Coach and support business leaders on complex HR matters whilst actively mitigating workplace relations exposure.
Play a key role in identifying, developing and implementing key People & Culture projects and initiatives in the ER/IR space.
Change Agent
Champion organisational initiatives, analyse change impacts and plan/deliver change through development of detailed change plans for implementation.
Understand engagement levels across business areas and work with business leaders to develop targeted strategies to uplift engagement and improve culture.
Process Expert
Produce and maintain a range of HR processes and documentation including letters relating to employment, policies, guides, procedures, reports and other workforce related documentation.
Ensure HR processes, documentation and solutions are legislatively compliant, fit for purpose and cost effective.
Monitor and respond to People & Mission queries in an appropriate and timely manner, escalating/delegating where appropriate.
What you will bring to the role?
Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or related discipline;
Strong experience in day to day ER/IR advice and interpretation of HR policies, processes and procedures;
Strong experience in the case management of disciplinary procedures, performance management, investigations and grievances;
Ability to coach leaders to manage performance and complex employee matters;
Knowledge of awards, legislation and enterprise agreements;
Ability to influence and engage with all levels in the organisation; and
Strong interpersonal skills (verbal, presentation, and written).
