Wehave an exciting opportunity for a motivated and highly organised human resources professional to join the People and Culture team on an initial 6 or 12-month fixed term contract. The opportunity can be full time or part time 4 days per week.
Your opportunity
Your key areas of responsibility will include:
- Building strong relationships with key internal stakeholders.
- Managing end-to-end recruitment, including the strategy and management of our vacationer and graduate recruitment programs.
- Liaising and developing relationships with external stakeholders, including universities, academics, careers centres, student societies and students.
- Working with hiring managers to prepare advertisements, position descriptions and interview guides
- Participating in interviews and assessment centres
- Conducting inductions for new starters
- Monitoring and managing probationary periods
- Maintaining policies and procedures
- Providing advice to employees and managers on policy, generalist, IR and ER matters
- Providing support through performance and remuneration reviews, including market data analysis and preparation of required documentation
- Ensuring staff files are maintained
- Assisting the People & Culture Director and Organisational Development Manager with project work as required.
- Providing wider support to the People and Culture team, including the People & Culture Director, Organisational Psychologist and Organisational Development Manager as required.
- Provide support to employees and managers through the full employee life cycle.
About you
As an ideal candidate for this role, you have:
- Strong experience in a similar role
- Excellent organisational skills
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and communication skills
- A working knowledge of HR functional disciplines (employee relations, resourcing, remuneration, organisational development and performance management)
- Exceptional attention to detail and self-motivation
- Experience in a similar role in a professional services environment would be an advantage.
