Essential Functions
Small-Scope Cost Savings Initiatives Achieve Desired Results
Manages small-scope process improvement initiatives across the entire site including implementation, escalations, cost and scope. Prepares budgets, schedules, and other financial reports particularly regarding the impact of and sustaining Continuous improvements, waste reduction, ROI, and as indicated by lean accounting principles.
Observations that Feed into Definition of Standard Work
Makes thorough studies of existing conditions related to the problem presented and analyze needed changes to achieve increased production speed and/or eliminate product defects and waste. Assists in the development, coordination and deployment of the Operational Excellence plan. Observes work areas regularly and identifies corrective actions as required to meet EHS or quality policies, practices and compliance.
Kaizen Events Coordinated
Facilities two Kaizen events that deliver efficiency improvements across the site. Facilitation to include scope and charter development, pre-work, leading activities during the Kaizen event, implementing improvements, and developing and delivering presentations at the conclusion of the event.
Minimum Requirements
Undergraduate degree in process, in an engineering, engineering management, or operations management field.
